Solitude
Parts of the Design
This is a Diptych of two multi layer Screenprints that I created for a show that was about the concept of solitude. In these two prints I investigate the duality that solitude can bring to people. The lonely and isolating part as well as the carefree and liberating part. two sides of the same coin solitude can bring Immense sadness or immense joy and fun.
I used these old Illustrations of neurons in the brain as a basis for the design the tendrils that are in the red cross- sections of the prints.
The usage of the brain diagram was to refrence the part of the brain where loneliness is processed. I added a figure to this part of the image to visually show the concept of being in your head.
The usage of the person in the bed and the room is to refrence how your bedroom can be a safe space and a place to be comfortable. But it can become a space that is confining and isolating.
The Background of this print is a combination of the room from the other print and this image of a club entrance. The club image cuts through the image of the bedroom
The Disco ball is to me a representation of dancing and partying. the element is used to promote the dance aspect of this

Scripture
This piece was created during covid when me and my friends would do weekly drawing challenges and decide on different prompts for making artwork. The prompt for this piece was scripture and so I created this illustration of an angel within a broken mirror.
Parts of the Design
I used dip pens to make a halo for the figure to reference the radiating halo that is sometimes utilized in christian art. The halo has been used as an Iconographic symbol to represent holiness.
The prompt was all about scripture which has a heavy religious context but I wanted to also reference writing as well and so on the bandages of the character there is writing that says “ The end is only a beginning”

Portrait of a Mime
This Project was a book that I made out of a photo series I created where I photographed my friend as they were developing and experimenting with miming and crafting their persona. I later turned these photographs into a small art book that I created, printed, and bound myself. The book is an accordion book with the spine bound together. This was done to help with the printing of the book as well as so the book could open flat.
The case that I made for the book consists of a Black book cloth and a silver embossment of the title on the front.
Parts of the Design
The Cover of the book itself has black and white stripes to reference the pattern on the shirt my friend wears in the series.

Poster Design
A Night with Cupid
This is a mockup tour poster design that I made of my friend who does drag as a hobby. created using Adobe Illustrator. Starting from the base of a Photo I took of them for a valentines day shoot.
I used Illustrator to select the two typefaces. I used a border that I found from a set of stock vector borders. I edited the flowers of the border to be the same color as a the accent color which is a hot pink color.
